Destination Familiarity and Perceived Attractiveness of Four Polish Tourism Cities

Destination familiarity has been analyzed for many years as an important factor influencing the perceived attractiveness of a destination and its image. However, previous research concentrated on this relation considering with whole, while issue particular elements not explored. The current aimed to detect if how three selected destination, namely, tangible tourism attractions, events, traditional cuisine dishes, impacts city destination. was conducted using following four Polish cities examples: Gdańsk, Katowice, Łódź, Wrocław. questionnaire distributed among citizens another city—Krakow. Over 200 responses were received. results show that attraction correlated high other two factors did impact level attractiveness. achieved basis indication several scientific practical conclusions.
